Meinl 8" Black River Series Rope-Tuned Wood DjembeThese Djembes are made from a solid piece of plantation grown Mahogany wood, and are hand carved with a horizontal ripple motif that suggests a flowing river. This also makes the djembe easy to hold between the knees. It comes in four different sizes for players of all ages. The hand selected goat skin head is secured and tuned with the traditional Mali Weave system.

I purchased this for my son’s birthday, he loves it. He’s into his watches and jewelry so he needed something appropriate for his growing collection.
