Summit of Sajama volcano. Queñua tree. Bolivia 1928 old vintage print picture'Summit of the extinct volcano Sajama (20,000 feet above sea level). The tree on the picture is the Queua, a hardwood which thrives at this great height. Growing at an altitude of from 12,000 to 16,000 feet, all the time exposed to the icy winds continuously blowing here, it never reaches a great height, but becomes deformed and knotty. The wood is used for making charcoal and for the building of huts.'

Works great on many different size cans
Works great on various size cans. It is a little larger that other openers, but seems very sturdy. It is a little loud and slow, but not a large concern. Very happy with it.

Stopped working after 3 months
It stopped working after 3 months. The motor still runs the gear still turns. But it does not engage the can to cut. I bought it for a post operative situation and I am glad that it worked when for the length of time it did but it's disappointing that I now have to throw this item away.

Meh.
Worked great the first couple of times it was used. But then it stopped cutting into the cans and does not open them. It causes the metal to fray off in small pieces which resulted in getting a piece of metal stuck in my finger for weeks so I don't recommend. It's also very loud.
