I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of this rug. No bad smell coming off it. I like the leather backing on it. Wasn't as soft/fluffy straight out the bag but a quick brush fixed that issue for me. So far even with the brushing there is minimal shedding. Bought as a gift for my husband but my son enjoys it.

I however want to find alternatives coz I stopped using animal products after turning a vegetarian. The white however needs a lot of attention and care.I’m sure it would last a decade and the weight is just right too!
